Staff and Faculty Resources

If you want to get involved with first-generation initiatives and support first-generation college students on our campus, fill out the staff and faculty engagement form. This form will help the First-Generation Coordinating Council and First-Generation Student Gateway direct interested faculty and staff to opportunities for engaging with the planning and implementation of programming for first-generation college students. This is open to all staff and faculty! 

Goals

• Connect interested people to ongoing first-generation initiatives at the university and within schools and colleges
• Identify opportunities for faculty and staff to be engaged with the broader first-generation initiatives happening on campus
• Identify opportunities for faculty and staff to connect with first-generation college students
• Share information on best practices for supporting first-generation college students at UM and the existing resources for first-generation college students
