Always put in that extra step to get where you want to go. Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there, make connections, and define your own success! Always remember that the extra effort will be worth it.

Being a first Gen student was never not an option for me. A mix of parental guidance pushing for college, knowing that my future entailed further education (and coming home as a newborn in a michigan onesie) Michigan has always been the dream! Putting in work for four years finally paid off when I was accepted here, and my “Michigan-fan family” couldn’t be more proud or excited! I can’t wait to see how this university guides my future.
