I’m from a small town in Michigan and I am so proud to be a First Gen. I went to a large, 4-year, public university, and loved my experience studying Special Education. My parents encouraged my heart and always offered support throughout my collegiate journey for that I am forever grateful. After undergrad, I took a gap year to explore higher education and continued to pursue my master’s degree in College Student Personnel to continue to empower fellow First Gen to make their mark!
