I come from a family of immigrants. My parents did not have the chance to go to college because they had to work to support their family members when they immigrated to the US. Growing up, I was taught that education meant the freedom to live your life how you choose, without struggle. As the oldest sibling in my family, I am proud to serve as an example to my younger siblings and show them that anything is possible if are determined to succeed.
